"...And as the best is saved for last, sister Isabel comes barreling in, adding a wonderful jolt to a play that took off with a boost. She's late, out of breath, cigarette in hand, and she's drunk..."  Leader Newspapers

Dear friends,

A lot has happened since I put up this website, and some of it even had to do with writing.  My book, MOTHER, originally self-published, was picked up by Madison Park Press and sold exclusively through the book clubs.  MOTHER was chosen as the Main Selection for both The Literary Guild and Doubleday book club, a magnificent blessing, which enabled me to not only feel like a real writer but also be among them.

Since MOTHER was released as a book club exclusive, it was never available to stores or libraries.  I am working on getting this edited version out.

Lately, I haven't been doing as much writing as exploring the different ways I can finalize my projects.  I also set out to learn how to manage my own website so I could update it regularly.  I won't talk about the learning curve, but it's pretty exciting to be able to present more than just words on a page.

This month I've included excerpts from two books, FITTING IN my first book, and FATHER, the most recent.  I've included a few family photos on these pages so you can understand how my material evolves.

And speaking of family, here are some recent photos.
